Meeting with US Senators on WWII Fil-Vets

Senator Richard Gordon meets with US Senators Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii(left) and Patrick Leahey, D-Vermont(2nd from left), and expresses his appreciation to the two influential lawmakers for their continuing support to the passage of an equity bill for Filipino World War II veterans. Senator Inouye, chair of the Committee on Veterans Affairs, is sponsor of SB 57, a bill seeking equity for Filipino veterans, while Senator Leahey is member of the Committee on Appropriations and chair of that committee's Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations.
