Inspired by Live Aid, USA for Africa, then DOT Secretary Dick Gordon tapped into the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mangaawit(OPM) among others to volunteer their talents in helping promote the Philippines amidst a negative image of kidnappings, Abu Sayyaf, SARS, etc.

The original video was aired on TV in 2003 and cd's were released in 2004.

To quote the cd flap:

"21 artists, 5 recording days, 1 song, One Country."

Mr. Senator, I have a question for you, what is your position about the Philippine claim over North Borneo(Sabah).

Sabah has been very blessed with abundant natural resources. Sabah is extremely rich in biological diversity with vast landscapes extending over both land and sea. Tourism is a major contributor to the economy of Sabah.

Malaysia is the one reaping its fruits instead of us!
